Excellence in Safe Operation

Arkos’ Health, Safety and Environmental Management System (HSEMS) is an integral part of our business and is considered an equal part of a wider system for the management of our business. Through effective HSE management, Arkos aims to be the preferred partner in safety and a preferred employer.

Business Integration

Arkos will apply its HSE management system controls to all of its business processes that are critical to HSE performance with defined accountabilities at every level of the organization. Doing so will make HSE an integral part of business and prevent HSE from becoming a hurdle to be discarded or jumped when situations warrant tough health, safety and environmental decisions.

Our Environment

Arkos is committed to responsible stewardship in protecting our environment. Environmental protection is the responsibility of every Arkos employee and is equal to business operations and safety. Arkos expects all divisions to comply with applicable environmental laws, regulations and promote environmentally sound operations to prevent harm to air, land, and water in which we work.

Management Commitment

Management at all levels are committed to providing strong, consistent, visible leadership necessary to develop, operate and maintain Arkos’ Health, Safety, and Environmental Management System. Management communicates with all employees to ensure they understand their responsibilities under the HSEMS and set clear expectations of HSE performance.

• HSE Training
  • Conducted in house by HSE Staff, front line Managers/Supervisors and approved third-party training providers.
  • Required HSE training is based on employee job description and/or customer specific training requirements.
  • All HSE training meets industry standards and regulatory requirements.

    • ISNetworld, PEC, BROWZ, VERIFORCE
    • Arkos Training Matrix and Tracker internal database
• Drug and Alcohol Programs | DOT and Non-DOT
